Michael Ong
Fashion Designer
Michael Ong living his childhood ambition, becoming a fashion designer and successful in his profession. He is well-known for his ostentatious and overstated designs, he specializes in malay traditional wear, evening gowns and bridal wear. Some of his creations have been seen on local celebrities such as Sheila Majid.
He started his designing career since he was 18, but worked in local boutiques for six years before starting his own boutiques with his own collection in 1995. His inspiring list of clientele includes royalty, celebrities and socialites. He also has clients from all over Asia.
His greatest accomplishment is by seeing his own design being realized.
1993 - TDC : Black & Gold Collection for the first Malaysian Tourism Promotion.
- Board Fashion Gala. Awarded Best Presentation Award and Most Talented Designer.
- TDC : The Collection was sent to Korea, representing Malaysia for the Taejon World Expo.
1994 - TDC : Crimson Symphony for TDC’s 2nd year.
